Who Are The JB Band ?  Two Brothers both professional musicians with over 28 years experience of performing live music. This has included in Johns case performing all over the UK in venues from Camden, London to Gig in the Green and King Tuts in Glasgow to name but a few.  Alan is newer to the performing live side of  music but has been working his apprenticeship under John for the last three years and now has over 200 live performances under his belt. As well as providing backing vocals he is also responsible for all lighting effects used in our shows. So you can be rest assured that your event entertainment is in good hands.

What Can We Do For You ?  We pride ourselves on not just turning up and playing music but in putting on a high energy performance from start to finish. This ensures all your guests both young and old will have a great night and certainly something to talk about for all the right reasons.

The Music:  We do not use set lists in our performances and prefer to tailor our music to each individual audience, and with over 380 songs in our repertoire and increasing week on week we can ensure no 2 nights are the same.   As we said on our homepage we do genuinely cover all genres of music from Dance, , Disco, Classic Rock to Pop, Scottish Folk  from the 60's tothe present day. (Most recent additions being Michael Buble  " I Just Haven't Met You Yet", Paolo Nutini "Pencil Full of Lead" and "10/10", Kelis "Acapella")

Dress Code:  We take a common sense approach to how we turn out, If it a wedding or corporate function then its suits and ties all round, If it is a Pub gig smart casual. Charity fundraisers we usually end up in some sort of fancy dress to add to the fun off the night.

Sound & Equipment:  With our years of experience in music we know how to set our sound levels to ensure you have a fantastic night but do not go home with your ears ringing.

All of our equipment from our lighting rigs to our PA systems are all of the highest quality and are no more than three years old. Our main sound system was replaced in Jan 2009. Lighting was updated in Nov 2009.  In total we have three separate sound and light systems. Ensuring we have the correct equipment for what ever venue you may have. Taking us no more than an hour to setup any of them. But usually quicker.
